Corporate Citizenship

IFS’ model is to collaborate with its suppliers to minimise adverse social, economic and environmental effects of activities occurring along its supply chain

IFS works with like-minded suppliers who implement the same approach in dealing with their own suppliers. At a minimum, suppliers are expected to adopt similar principles to those outlined in this Code of Conduct when dealing with their own critical suppliers.

IFS recognizes, welcomes and embraces its role as both a global citizen and a responsible corporate citizen. We have active programs to support Bush fire support, the Red Cross, and the Paralympic Games as well as local charities and organizations such as Men’s Shed and various women’s shelters. We ensure ethical conduct with suppliers, retain return service personnel and long term unemployed, as well as mature age workers and staff with disabilities. IFS currently employs over 50 apprentices/traineeships as part of career development initiatives for our people.

IFS acknowledges that it is incumbent upon us to use our position and every opportunity afforded to us to respect, preserve and restore the environment. Our aim is to be conscious of all environmental issues that arise from our operations and administration and to pursue excellence in minimising the impact of our business and our clients’ business on our global environment. We always strive for continued improvement in our environmental performance and will comply with all environmental legislation, regulations and other requirements that affect our business.
