IFS is a licensed security systems installation company. We have a team of qualified and experienced data cabling technicians and our supervisors have managed projects across the UK, SE Asia and Australia.

For the NBN project, IFS has identified and understood the increasing shortage of qualified fibre splicers. Our proposal includes a bespoke program to ensure certainty in delivery of the critical elements of the NBN roll-out: All technicians will be trained to CMT.11.220, Certificate II, FTTP Base Level Installer. IFS is working with Celemetrix Australia Pty Ltd, Australia’s leading specialist data and fibre cabling training experts, on a bespoke training program for our technical team in Tasmania. The week long course will provide comprehensive training and certification in all aspects of fibre data cabling, with a concentration on fibre splicing. Traffic management capability IFS is a licensed traffic management organisation.

We have a highly experienced team, all of whom hold Occupational, Health & Safety construction induction (white card) – WST-60162-20456 certification. IFS has the ability to provide a comprehensive works management solution for the completion of all cabling works. All crews will be using state of the art IFS-10 Fusion Splicer units. These units will enable the crews to cleave and splice single or ribbon fibre in pristine conditions and log all work completed and report digitally on progress. All work crews will be supervised by experienced and qualified cabling specialists.
